ACCA and ENVISIA announce the international conference "The Future of Governance"
The Corporate Governance Future Conference, organized by ACCA in partnership with ENVISIA - Boards of Elite, is the first event in Romania to build an international platform for practitioners and top decision-makers to share their knowledge and research findings, best practices, challenges, and future developments in the field of governance. The 2022 edition, the first one, took place on Thursday, May 12, 2022, starting at 3:00 PM, at Athenee Palace - Hilton, in Bucharest, and online.
The conference promotes responsible corporate governance, preparing companies and their boards for contemporary challenges, adding value to businesses and local communities, contributing to the promotion of sustainable and responsible corporate behavior along global value chains. We believe Romania is at a crossroads regarding corporate governance. The future of the business environment depends, more than ever, on its quality and its role in societal development, constantly under pressure from investors and external challenges generated by the Covid-19 pandemic, socio-cultural differences and inequalities, or negative economic trends. We are extremely pleased that, in partnership with ACCA and ENVISIA, we can bring the subject of corporate governance to the forefront of the agenda on May 12, ensuring that investors have access to the most relevant and credible performance information," said representatives of ACCA and ENVISIA.
