James is an environmental economist who works with global clients to ensure that investment decisions are sustainable and efficient. His clients include financial institutions, donors, municipalities, governments, multinationals, and organizations in the public sector.
James has served as a principal management consultant, leading integrated multidisciplinary teams to support investments in the global energy transition. Currently, he supports clients navigating the context of ESG, TCFD, TNFD, and Net Zero reporting.
He holds a PhD in economics from the University of Gothenburg and is a fellow at Exeter Business School.
