Juan Diego is a legal expert dedicated to driving systemic change by helping organizations build a purpose-driven, regenerative, and sustainable future. With over a decade of experience in corporate governance, social entrepreneurship, and purpose-driven business models, he specializes in the Benefit Corporation legal framework and B Corp Legal Requirement from a multi-jurisdictional perspective. A Harvard Law School LL.M. graduate, he has worked across the United States, Europe, and Latin America, advising leadership teams on aligning governance with measurable social and environmental impact. Currently, Juan Diego works as Impact Law & Governance Lead at NATIVA, Italy’s pioneering Benefit Corporation and Certified B Corp.
Juan Diego has led high-impact initiatives, including a UNDP-funded research project that influenced legislation in six Ibero-American countries. A board member of the Global Alliance of Impact Lawyers (GAIL), he actively contributes to the global dialogue on impact law and governance. He is also committed to education for sustainable development, having worked at Universidad de Lima’s sustainability center and collaborating with other academic institutions and projects.
